got a call from my surgeon's nurse this week...

the marketing department wants to make a tv commercial...

starring my surgeon, to promote the hospital...

WHILE HE IS OPERATING ON ME!

gave them my permission...

no one will ever know its me...

they will have drapes up...

I finally get my 15 minutes of fame...

except no one will ever know...

but us...

since acting naturally will be no problem, as I will be asleep...

I can do that pretty good...

been practicing up on it...

was trying to get shots of the busy bird feeder this morning...

he was probably waiting for them to drop something...

this feeder is visited every morning by these wee wingers...

and they wait in line until its their turn...

Christmas shows are on tv...

and DH and I made a deli run when he got home...

then we drove around a bit and looked at lights while we were down there...

not sure how sore I am going to be next week and may not want to ride in the car at all...

so soaking it up while I can...

trying to get caught up, but its not working so far...

oh well, what we don't get done, the guys can do later...

Christmas cards, the bulk of them, are ready to go in the mail in the morning...

and we got 3 in today!

I am usually earlier than this...

must be old age creeping up on me...

that was before my mom passed away, even...

well, its playing as I work on my Christmas cards tonight...

we also vacuumed the living room ceiling...

yep, popcorn...

but I really like the texture of it...

so we vacuum it...

trying to get caught up today on laundry and housework...

got up with a head ache, but had it gone by noon...

just been trying to catch up since then...

well, better get more of these cards done and a shower...
