you name it, it happened...

the weather has been all over the place today...

we have had sun...

bright and shiny sun shine...

and we have had cloudy...

we had a bit of rain...

and even some sleet...

there was calm...

and there was wind...

and then there were these guys...

who faired the weather, come what may...

to scramble around and find a meal here and there...

what one would toss away...

another was under them to grab what they could...

;0)

until all were well fed and took off for the night...

but they will return tomorrow...

and do it all over again...

we have a mama in labor here...

delivered 3 already and we are waiting up for the rest of them...

a calico, a dark gray tiger, and a light gray tiger so far...

;0)

posting photos tomorrow sometime...

after we catch up on our sleep...

looks to be an all nighter...

sweet dreams...

spring is being so cruel...

the seven day forecast is saying...

nothing above the low 50s...

and some nights in the 20s, still...

so here I sit until it warms up some more...

and watch from the inside...

the 50s wouldn't be so bad with full sun and no wind...

but our winds have been unyielding...

and chilling to the bone...

looks are so deceiving...

I have so many things I want to start on...

little things...

details...

oh, well...

stuck cleaning house for another week...

at least we don't have snow...

van goes in for an oil change and I am getting my hair cut this afternoon...

eggs were delivered yesterday morning...

and I have ordered a stool online for the kitchen and Craig will bring it home on Thursday...

and that should finish out my week...

nothing terribly exciting...

but it gets me by...

have good days...

another Tuesday post...

had a limb twisted in the hybrid popular that had to come down from Saturday's extremely high winds...

this is what's left after DH took a full pick up load to the dump...

the other casualty of the winds...

the hands are gone...

looking for another one next trip to town...

daffodils are still blooming...

 hone suckle is greening up, too...

and an online rummage sale purchase...

for babies when we have them to bottle feed...

its a large bird cage...

and I don't have to bend over to take care of them...

and it rolls!

our weekend drive around town...

Sunday was much calmer than the Saturday super winds...

so we took a drive before we started working in the yard...

spring is here for sure now...

and there is nothing prettier than blooms and blossoms...

the colors are alive again...

we had a limb break in the hybrid popular...

so DH worked on that...

while Craig and I cleaned off the deck and moved things around...

no photos of any of that, but I try to get some for tomorrow...

much cooler days for us now...

I was just happy to be out while the sun was shining so bright...

still bundling up to go out in it...

but soon, very soon...

we will be sweating and wearing shorts and flip flops again!

washi day...

my plans have been squashed like a bug!

we have extremely high winds today...

and there is a wind chill!

so what do you do?

you play!

I had this wall sticky thingy that kept curling and finally fell off the wall...

so, I still liked it and decided to stick it to something...

so, I grabbed an old cereal box and headed to the playroom...

added paper, glue and washi tape...

I did the first letter "T" last year, but Walmart was out of the rest of the letters that I needed...

remember that I finally found them last month or maybe the month before...

been too sick to care about it until now...

so...

I now have a full name!

not sure where its going...

but I will hang it somewhere!

just sitting here wishing it wasn't so windy...

and watching the birds try their wing at the feeders...

flapping against the wind and waving in the breeze as they try to hang onto the forsythia...

then there's the squirrels...

hanging on for dear life, bobbing back and forth...

DH went down  to the deli this morning without me...

good thing...

it was an "E" ride all the way there and back!

this should die down in a couple hours...

but then we have freeze warnings this coming week...

its crazy spring weather...

the poor mower guy looked like an eskimo...
