the perfect weekend...until...

GGS hit...

it happened at noon yesterday...

helihoppers in the making...

the flower beds will be full of them...

that's when the real work will start...

GGS?

pray tell you have never heard of GGS...

GGS or Grumpy Guy Syndrome...

hits randomly and for no apparent reason...

and yesterday, it was here...

it hit DH like a ton of bricks...

just grateful that the yard work was finished when it happened...

I just took a nap...

and another nap...

and another nap...

couldn't go shopping...

he has to take me...

no fun in that...

so napping is the next best thing...

OH!

I did buy something online...

he paid for it...

he doesn't know it yet...

but he will...

;0)

don't mess with mama...

;0)

we have ways of evening it out...

don't we?

PMS trumps GGS every time!

so much is going on around here...

spring has officially taken over and did it ever...

people are out everywhere working on the yards...

fun things everywhere...

we got some yard work in...

some sun sittin' time in...

the high school musical this spring is coming up soon...

77 for a high yesterday...

could get warmer today...

just a few smiles on the way to the store...

this little guy came in on Thursday around noon...

by 2pm, he had his forever home...

he is about 4 weeks old...

doing the bottle and baby food....

Gerber's beef baby food...

not voiding on his own yet...

but soon will be...

isn't he cute?

thought that would get your attention...

so here they are...

there are 5 of them in this litter...

and their eyes are starting to open...

its still about eating and sleeping right now...

but very soon, it will be about swatting and pouncing...

rescue called yesterday morning and I got in a new one...

4 week old baby boy and he is already adopted...

Baby Katie went to her new home yesterday morning...

a disabled man needed a buddy...

and it was love at first sight...

then the sun warmed up the outside...

and I got out a bit...

to find that things have been moving right along out there without me...

the lilacs are doing really well for all those really cold nights we had...

all the other flowers are coming along, too...

pops of color here and there...

peonies are up and about...

filling in...

even these guys are going nuts...

the yard is full of them...

did you know that these keep the bees alive while waiting for the other flowers to bloom?

more color...

and more here...

and that's only checking flower beds...

we did mostly inside work...

but I still got in some playtime on the deck...

and even got to sit out there awhile...

in the sun...

in a tank top...

and its only going to keep warming up!
