Happy 4th!

the weekend looks awesome!

we have a new critter!

a chip monk...

we named him...

"Chip"

meanwhile...

the rest of the critters are doing lunch...

its so stinking humid out there...

even the photos look funky...

and some kind of baby bird still getting its feathers...

so not sure what it will be...

its so hazy...

but...

there is a cool down coming...

and we are to get 3 days of cooler, less humid weather...

and I am hoping to be out in it...

not stuck inside...

this summer has been so hard on me!

I sure hope we have an early and long fall...

like from next week until Thanksgiving!

got DH for 5 days after today!

so, have good days and enjoy the cooler coming!

more hot and humid...

we got enough rain last night to add to the humid...

green beans in the making...

autumn clematis...

I am ready for normal weather patterns or fall...

which ever is easier...

mulberries have been feeding the birds...

raspberry bushes are growing well in this tropical climate...

the willow is growing so fast now...

pepper blooms...

and I will finish off with some roses...

hiding out inside until it cools off...

have good days...

4th celebration...

I am in a fibro flare...

so my guys took my camera and went up to the car show...

they weren't gone very long...

its been so hot and humid...

heat advisories every day...

a native DJ comes home every year to do the car show with 50s-60s music...

they only had about half the cars...

many called to say it was just too hot to do the show...

hopefully, next year will be cooler...

darn weather...

I missed that and all the other activities, including the parade, which was in the hottest part of the day...

but I did see the fireworks...

 I stuck my nose out the door around 7 and it was so nasty out there...

so I took my shower and put on my gown...

but...

the humidity dropped by 9pm...

it usually just gets worse as the night goes on...

but not last night...

so DH drove us to the edge of town and we sat in the van...

me in my night gown...

and watched them...

they were half an hour later than usual...

and only lasted 20 minutes...

less than half of what they normally do...

but we didn't have to do out of town to see them...

laying low today...

got to get passed this!

oh, is it hot...

heat indexes at 110 here...

I am staying inside 99% of the time...

we had just over 4 inches of rain last week...

on a couple of downpours that laid the hydrangea flat...

they have not perked back up...

but they are still pretty...

not sure if I will be able to do our 4th of July celebration this weekend or not...

if the heat bothers me, I will turn around and go back inside and stay there...
