I'm taking a stand !...

right here...
right now...
I'm protesting...
W*I*N*T*E*R ! ! !
I WANT NO MORE OF IT !
JACK FROST NEEDS TO PACK HIS BAGS...
AND SCRAM !
if he slips and falls on his behind....
on his way out...
it's his own fault...
I can  handle an early spring...
but in the meantime...
I took this candle holder...
and this candle stick...
vintage, by the way...
and combined them...
and we took everything off of the top of the desk and the top the mantle this morning...
and started all over...
no more WINTER stuff in my house...
that's not an ornament either...
it's a mini gazing ball...
it's time to pitch and shove this season right out of my system...
bring on the tulips and the crocus!
whew...
glad I got that out of my system...
it's always good to vent...
saves on the heating bill...
so.............
what are you doing today?...

do you think I could count this as my aerobics for the day?
I did type pretty fast...
and in upper case sometimes...
yeah...
let's count that...

hahahahah! I thought I was doing so well dealing with winter, and I must admit that I am getting pretty sick of it, too! I just came in from walking our dog, and our driveway and road are all ice! Yuck! Hey, I think you have my knife print! Yes, that framed knife looks just like mine, love it! And I really, really love those neat corbel shelves (I guess that's what you call them). Wherever did you find them? I have been feeling a bit "off" lately. Maybe it's 'cause I haven't been using enough glitter. Yes, I said the "G" word!! Have a warm & cozy day:)

Well, good luck on kicking Jack Frost to the curb! I do like your mini gazing balls. You would never be able to pull that off if they were red or green. Brown works though!

Winter is hard on all of us. I would not live up North or in the East where they have been having so much snow. I would go stark raving crazy. I cannot stand to be connfied and knowing you cannot get out of the house.

Cute post, Tete! You have many lovely things. I too am tired of winter but it was mild until the last couple of weeks, so really can't complain too much. I've got an idea; let's go on a warm-weather getaway! How about a Caribbean cruise???
Hugs, Beth
