surprise!

got a message last night from my buddy who does the plants on the highway...
she said my flowers were in...
so I got these, too...
2 packs of tomatoes and I went with beef master...
1 pack of green peppers...
that will be more than enough for us...
look at the vinca...
no white center...
so cool...
and then there is a pink/purple rose moss...
I am thinking I will need more of that...
a pink pink impatient...
and I grabbed a pack of violets...
look at the intense color...
my pink begonias were a little too red for me...
so I traded for white this year...
I stick these little guys in everywhere...
so now that my whites will be these...
I'm rethinking my design here...
I need snap dragons and marigolds and salvia if I can find the blue...
but for now, they are safe in the cold frames...
until it dries up and the danger of frost is past...
and most of them are going in here...
took a photo while I was there of some of the bloomers they got in...
there's a salmon pink petunia, but I'm holding out for the wave ones...
clematis...
I hope no one takes it out again this year...
would really love to see it grow up...
so that's my big surprise...
bedding plants and veggies!
I brought the little violets in with me...
so they can keep me smiling until we get to planting...
have a fun day...
even if it is raining again...

April showers bring May flowers they say. Looks like you're all ready for the planting season.

Once you plant and finish your work, you will have a real show place. I love all your plants. You are so kind and leave me such nice comments. I do appreciate them and your visits.

Well, hello Miss Tete! I haven't been on here very much. Between working at the pharmacy, and setting up my booth, doing laundry, cleaning bathrooms, etc. I haven't had a lot of time to sit down and visit with anyone.
Your yard looks so wonderful! I love the tulips in your previous post, too.
I hope your clematis makes it this year! Looks like it's got a great start.
So glad you are feeling well enough to some of the things you love.
Have a happy Thursday.
Hugs,
Debbie

Well, you knew I would be all over this post now don't you... first off I'm jealous that you have flowering vinca already. That is the hottest selling plant I have i the nursery cause it's DEER RESISTANT! Your picks look wonderful! Great job. I just got in a shipment of petunia's, but not waves yet. In the coming weeks I'll have more and more annuals so if you want to come to NJ, I'll be more than happy to accomodate you in any annual you're looking for.. I'm not a lover of begonias but have many customers that are. Different flowers for different folks. Good for you for keeping them in the cold frame until the threat of frost is over. Here in NJ it is typically 5/15 but you never know with this crazy weather! The clematis looks healthy! Just remember to plant them in sun, but keep their roots shaded.. that's the best environment for them. Loved your post...
