waterfront property...

this is what we woke to this morning...
standing water from all the rain...
we got another 2 inches yesterday...
but nowhere close to what others are dealing with...
the death toll raises every half hour...
for those caught in the paths of over a hundred tornadoes that ripped through the south...
I don't think we need an ark...
yet...
but a pontoon boat would be nice...
probably need a dock, too...
I spent my childhood summers on the water...
there's just something peaceful about the sun dancing on the surface...
as long as it doesn't creep any farther...
I'm going to sit on the deck and pretend I'm back home...
on the lake...

and pray for...
the ones lost...
the ones left behind...
the homeless...
the rescue workers...
the clean up crews...
the newly jobless...
the injured...
the medical staff working double shifts...
 the under takers...
and last, but certainly not least...
our blogging friends who may be anyone of those right now...
Lord, send them what they need, who they need and when they need it...
Amen

Hi Tete-I'm praying right there with you....I am just horrified by all this devastation and what people must endure. I pray that it ends soon....stay safe and dry!
And, as always, thank you so much for your encouraging words which always put things in perspective. And I am so thankful for my blessings.
love,
gail

The tornado sirens went off at 2 am this morning and I didn't even know we had sirens. It's times like that when I hate that we live in a mobile home but thankfully the mountains broke the tornado's up. My prayers are with all those too.
