lazy afternoon...

after lunch we went back outside...
it was still misting...
but not enough to come through the trees...
tiger lilies are almost ready to open...
and we decided we were bored so DH and I got ready to head for the antique mall...
had to pay my booth rent and snag up my "big" check...
99 cents from paying my booth rent this month...
but I was thrilled...
it's only had 2 weeks of being stocked and rearranged by me personally...
and a pair of lamps sold this morning...
so 1/2 of the rent is already covered for next month...
so I think June will be a good month in there!
we drove through the street that my grandparents, mom and father in law used to live...
but I didn't take the camera today because of it being dark out...
mom's house looked great, she would have been happy...
my grandparent's house was wonderful!
my fil's house looked sad...
bushes were gone...
they had painted the porch a barn red/brown color and did a bad job of it...
the blue spruce is almost completely dead...
needs mowed...
weeded...
just sad...
it never looked like that when he lived there...
they must have started working on the inside first...
would have loved to see the inside of all of them...
but that's a little rude...
I am not sure who owns the properties now...
the old neighbors are almost all gone, too...
it was a street of elderly people for a long time...
but one by one...
they have left here...
and now it's a whole different neighborhood...

then we drove through the parking lot at Walmart and the flowers didn't look that good, so we didn't even stop...
went to KFC/A&W and got a couple of their 49 cent ice cream cones and headed back...
stopped at the green house and picked out 2 4 packs of snap dragons...
I need to get them planted tonight or in the morning...

Craiger went out to Tia's...
DH is taking a nap...
spaghetti is already made for supper...
we have kind of been snacking on it this afternoon...
you know, just to make sure it's good enough for supper...

it's only 5:15, but I think I will take my shower and get my night gown on...
my hair will be dry by bedtime that way...
you all have a great evening...

Hi Tete Sweetie...
Oh what a wonderful stroll in the gardens tonight. I also enjoyed my trip through KFC/A&W and that ice cream cone, ooh was that ever great. Nothing like a wonderful soft cone to cool you off on a hot day. Wal-Mart is so disappointing of late with their flower selection, so poor even out here. I just quit looking there.

Now I have to know, that first photo you shared, so beautiful is this creation. Did you make this one? I love the grapevines and the colored beads as well. So pretty.

Can't wait to see those Tiger Lilies pounce right on out of their pods. I know they will be elegant. Momma always has those orange tiger lilies. I love seeing them it takes me home for that moment and time. Thank you for sharing with me sweetie.

Now I am so tickled to hear that your booth is paying for itself, and you are going to come out ahead this month. Yeah. Especially seeing as how it is only June 2 and you have already made 1/2 of the rent.

Have a beautiful Friday tomorrow sweet one. Your gardens look beautiful. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Thanks, Tete. No one knows or seems concerned about the lymph nodes...they have gone down mostly...so I guess I just won't care either!
I just love your outdoor areas!!

Glad to hear your booth is doing well.Sounds like it is going to be a good month.
Didn't do much outdoors today. It was 98 and the humidity so bad you could cut it with a knife!
