I too, will have to cook today, if we eat. And our decorating will be destroying daughter's kitchen and building it from the ground up. I told her that was her gift, the labor involved.

LOVE that image that makes you giggle! CUTE! I*love*vintage* graphics. Do you like to see the old old cartoons like Steamboat Willie (Mickey Mouse) ---REALLY old????? if so we are definitely kindred spirits!!
!! shoot ..I miss the rest of my gang being here eating all our leftovers, and I tried not to "cook for an army"... this is a first where the 2nd day past Thanksgiving there are still leftovers filling the frig. argh... Hugs to you Tete. xo

Making turkey pot pie today. Putting away the Thanksgiving decorations and cleaning the house, doing laundry, and the bathrooms need a good scrubbing...ewww. Doesn't sound like fun...but it's got to be done.
Enjoyed your Christmas images today, Honeybunch.
have fun on this chilly Saturday.

Still a few leftovers of turkey and a pie.. Will make turkey-ala-king and have the kids over. Love the card you saved as a screen saver.

I voted you three hearts: charming illustrations and great gift suggestions quote at the top of the post.

Thanks for the images, Tete! They are wonderful-as always!

I had to cook today, too. I did cheat a bit and used the carcass and a few smidgens of meat that was leftover to make a wonderful turkey and wild rice soup. I took the croissants that were left over and sliced them in half and topped them with cheese to serve alongside the soup~along with a few huge seedless grapes. The kids cleaned their plates. We had a few cookies for dessert and called it good!

Hope you had a good day, Tete! Love to you- Diana
