piddle fartin' in progress...

I have had these little wooden boxes for a couple of years at least...
ordered them from where I get my paint and brushes from...

and I finally figured out what to do with them...

so I go into the big computer for my stash of background paper...
and printed off wallet sized images...
cut them apart and laid them out so I could see it all...

then I started in on the first box...

and then I printed off 3x5 images and did the bigger box...

and there are 2 of them...
I have 4 more to play with, too...

there are several more steps to these...
and I figure this will be a good thing to play with when I am bored...
like when the guys are watching stupid stuff on tv or I can't sleep at night...
got stuff laying around and you're not sure what to do with it...
take it out, and stare at it for awhile...
it will come to you...
trying to use up what I already have here...
before I haul any more into the house...
not sure if I will sell these, give them away or keep them...
but sooner or later, they will be finished...

hope you are having a good day...
NanaDiana should be headed home now...
her brother's funeral was this morning with a dinner after...
praying for a safe journey back home for her and her hubby...
extra big hugs to her and all of you for keeping her in your thoughts and prayers...
they really do matter...
;)

pretty boxes...One of a kind. Now you can store MORE stuff (inside of the pretty boxes) ;-) and keep them out on a shelf. Practical but beauteous decor!! ;-) Sometimes going to a funeral and then having a road trip to get back home is a blessing. It gives you time just to ride and check out for a little bit, talk a little bit, reflect, and rest....all before you get back to LIFE. Kind of a little space between the grief and the adjusting...just sayin'...Prayers for her. xoxo to you Tete.
