went out to see how warm it was...
and its just amazing even at 42F...
and this was a disaster...
so I started in...
and Craig followed me out...
there was a whole trashcan full of boxes sitting here...
just waiting to be tossed...
gone...
and I straightened, put away and fluffed...
as much as you can on a day like this and for this time of the year...
and THEN!
A WALK!
a real live walk...
in chair, of course...
and the snow is all gone out there...
a little bit of wind, but not much...
I sat out here for a little bit...
in a sweater!
I remember this...
and this...
as cleaned up as it can be for now...
way too soon to be getting a bucket of water...
and dragging the hose out...
but I'l take it!
see, bits of snow left here and there...
where it was piled high...
got to sand and paint the railing as soon as it warms up for good...
saying bye bye to winter...
BYE BYE!
;)

Tete, Your pictures look promising of warmer weather to come. It is nice here today also. We have much more snow still on the ground, but it's melting:):) I just told Ted I was going to sit on the porch later. My twin daughter just came by and brought me some cappuccino mix. They were meeting up with my oldest daughter for lunch, then going to a funeral of a friend of theirs. I offered to fix them lunch, but they wanted to eat at a pizza place. Just a good day now. xoxo,Susie
Hoooooooray for playing outside!!!!!
Yesterday, we even went for a bitty walk, outside. After he got me over the left-over ice, the street was clear. :-) Short walk, but it was a start. First this year.
Again... Hoooooooray for playing outside!!!!!
Tessa~
We are all enjoying warmer weather. We are 53 degrees and I want to get my hubby outside in the fresh air this afternoon. He will feel so much better if I can get him to agree. It just makes us think that we are getting so much closer to Spring. To think they are saying even higher temperature coming. Enjoy the warmer weather, I sure am. Have a great day. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.
Oh- How nice to see some outside shots around there, Tete. We don't have ANY bare areas yet. I think our snow base is at least 3 feet over everything. You are lucky and glad that it is warming up for you. Can't wait for the same thing here- xo Diana
You lucky girl you! We had a couple of days when it didn't snow but today we got rain and snow. I'm so ready for spring!
Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Noreen
