I have waited all winter for this...

when we unloaded the van from our morning run for bloomers and all things pretty...
this little wagon was completely full..
we still have this much left to plant...

but I think we did a wonderful job finding some really pretty things...

I could find no rose bud impatients...
so will be looking for them while we go to other places...

I bought 2 different cabbages for the colors...
the other one is purple or red cabbage...

this is the big pot going by the steps...
many things were added here...

I bought 2 carnations...
this light pink one and a really dark pink...

we are so dry here, the ground so hard...
just wore us out trying to plant things...

at walmart...I found a concrete fairy...
so DH said to get it for my Mother's Day...
she was only $12...

between me and my fibro and arthritis...
and DH's bursitis acting up again...
we didn't get mush in the ground...

hoping for rain today...

we haven't even started working up the garden area yet...
but most of it is going in containers...

so will see how that goes this year...

I got more pots to fill and very little room in the beds anymore...
it was a very hot day for us...
but the wind was blowing hard...
and the farmers were kicking up dust all over the place...

hope you had a good weekend...
got a funeral coming up this week for us...
DH's cousin died in his sleep on Friday, so his wife called for him to be a pall bearer...
funeral and visitation is on Wednesday...

Tete, Bless your heart...you got your plants out. I know that is making you smile. Girl, I know what arthritis does...it plain hurts. I do not take any thing for mine other than Tylenal every so often. I need some now. My feet still hurt from moving my sister. Farmers were planting here yesterday. I hope the kid next door got his done for now. I know he has much more to do. He worries ...just like his dad did. Hope we get sunshine this week too. It rained today and will tomorrow also. Hugs to you dear Tete. xoxo,Susie

What lovely flowers! Dry here, finally, and husband is hoping to have the garden space tilled by friend of neighbor! Ground is hard even when it has been raining. It's that Tennessee red clay!

Sorry to hear of the passing in your family.
