I was goofing off online and found all these vintage photos of vintage Halloween costumes...
pretty spooky...
nothing like we have now...
some of the masks were really scary...
like these...
and some, not so bad...
and a few cute ones...
I will do a post once a week until Halloween with more of them...

Tete, I like funny and cute...not a fan of scary things. I think it's good to just make up little kids faces so they can see when they are walking. LOL. Hope you had some good weather today. It did get warm here but was so nice. I am loving these good days. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
Time does change everything, even Halloween costumes. I am sure the children were just as happy or not more so, than today.
I remember my Mama making our costumes every year. I agree with LV! We were probably happier, with our costumes than the kids now days. Probably because we knew how hard it was for Mama to come up with the stuff to make them and the time it took for her to do so. Now day, kids think they have to have all these fancy store bought costumes and expect to get them!

WOW these are incredible. I like the sweet and fun too rather then creepy. But it looks like kids haven't changed much over the years in how they want to dress up. Still like the homemade costumes the best. Have a great weekend. xo
Oh those are great pictures. More of our childhood even. Just go buy a mask, candy apples, popcorn balls good ole fashion fun!
