greetings from the wild side...
got some rain going on...
and a cranky DH trying to get the carpet shampooer unclogged...
and their eyes are beginning to open...
litter 2
litter 2
litter 1
litter 1
litter 1
and their eyes are open, most of the time...
and in the middle of supper Friday evening...
we get a text from Craig...
quarter panel needs fixed...
he dosed off and hit the ditch about 5 miles from home...
DH popped the front back on...
but there are some parts left over...
and it popped the bead on the tires on that side...
but they are fine...
just need aired back up...
so waiting for the body shop to open on Tuesday to get an estimate...
in the meantime...
a friend reached out to me on facebook...
and they had decided to sell her husbands car...
2011 Hyundia Accent...
I think that's how you spell it...
140,000 miles...
great shape...
$2,000...
yeah, well we jumped on that...
got the money coming from the credit union and as soon as that gets here...
we will pick it up...
and there it is...
they let us bring it home and our neighbor is a mechanic...
so he checked it out and gave it a thumbs up...
so, we have a couple of extra cars now...
Craig can drive this while he gets the other one fixed...
and he may take some time getting the money together...
we only carry liability on cars that are paid for...
and we don't have payments on any of them...
so...
God is good...
Craig is fine...
no one else involved...
and we are going to have another vehicle if the others are in the shop...
and the sable...
Craig's other car he got 3 years ago...
is going to a gal he works with...
who has no car...
we decided that the title change and new tags fees would be enough for the car...
we all believe that one good turn deserves to be passed on...
and she is thrilled...
(Craig's been giving her rides to work and taking her home when they work the same days)
so...
hope your weekend is going well...
I need to go google how to unstopped this thing...
:O)

Tete, Those kids...awk. Thank God Craig is fine.. That is a good car deal your friend offered. Plus the fact that you all are helping a young person who needs a car, is spreading kindness around. Bless your hearts. The roses are beautiful. Oh so many cats. LOL. Blessings to all of you, xoxo, Susie
p.s. raining here most all day.
Grateful to God Craig is fine. That car is a good deal. I sure would love to have a better car to get my errands done. I can not go too far about 5 miles. Right now we just do not have the funds to buy anything else. Your roses are lovely and the kittens, always so sweet. Have a wonderful Labor Day. HUGS and LOVE to you
So glad Craig is ok!! Scary. The 2nd little guy looks like our Pouncer. The rose is gorgeous, looks like a Queen Elizabeth I use to have.
