migraine is gone...

yeah...

and I didn't get much done yesterday, so need to move today...

tacos tonight for supper...

which isn't hard to do and won't take long at all...

and its supposed to be warmer today...

almost 50...

then back to 17 for a high on Thursday...

need prayers for Tia and her grandma again...

she is in the hospital with pneumonia...

and I am thinking her lungs are filling...

well, back to bed for awhile...

and then to knock out all this housework...

found all these wonderful girls at Goodwill last weekend...

and remember the vintage ear rings that I found online?

guess what's going to happen to them...

I got up with this pain in my head this morning, but it started fading...

so I went in to finish the valentine bags...

with things I have bought...

and things that I had made that are just hanging around...

but it came back worse than this morning...

waiting on the ibuprofen to start working and then I am going to hide in my dark bedroom until it goes away...

prayers for blogger NanaNor who is recovering from surgery yesterday morning...

her daughter reported that the surgery went well...

but she is going to be sore and the recovery won't happen over night...

so keep her in your prayers the rest of the week...

playtime...

I have been working on these off and on the past several days...

cover and inside...

using the vintage images that I found online...

I just googled vintage valentine postcard images...

there are plenty more out there if you don't like these...

I had those 3 done and decided to do another...

and there it is...

I am going to do one more, but they are so fast to do...

I am going to wait until tonight, when the guys are watching the boob tube to hide in my room...

I also decorate the gift bags with my cards...

just glue the envelope face side down...

you can decorate it up, too...

and just tuck the card inside so it shows...

its really super easy to do...

and when you get a gift like this, the card is so easy to pull out and read and then tuck it back in while you look inside the bag!

I think I will print out some Happy Valentine's Day banners to glue across the center of the envelopes...

and here is a very simple DIY project!

no paint, no glue, no glitter!

these are those wood/? letters that they have in the craft section at Walmart...

today's project is brought to you by the letter 'T'...

I covered it with washi tape...

also found in the craft section at Walmart...

its in the scrapbooking area...

turned my mouse pad upside down for a surface to trim it on...

(because I was too lazy to go get a piece of card board)

I used a small box cutter...

then I just took a sharpie and colored the sides...

I was trying to come up with a fun thing to do that anyone could handle...

I could have painted it easily, but understand some just don't do paint...

so there you go...

it would be fun to do with kids as long as you do the trimming..

you can also print out images and just glue them on the whole thing...

then cut them out...

so, there are some ideas for you to use...

a rather warm weekend...

went shopping on Saturday and a drive after lunch on Sunday...

it was sunny until we ate lunch, and the clouds started rolling in...

by the time we hit the road, the sun had been swallowed whole...

but it was still in right at 50...

and it was nice to see things I hadn't seen before...

and we saw one lone deer...

but there is never just one, but I couldn't find the rest in the woods, too far away...

a large doe running full speed...

didn't have much time to shoot her...

but I got a couple before she crossed the road in front of us...

I bought these from a friend of mine online last week...

found this victorian canister at Goodwill on Saturday...

and these are the second round of cadbury eggs to enter here this year...

I have been doing one a week...

so far...

I have been looking for the mini ones, but so far, they aren't out yet...

I am sure as soon as Valentine's Day is done, the Easter stuff will pop up overnight...

I got more stuff, but no photos yet...

I found some great linens, too, at the Goodwill...

I am home alone today, as soon as the guys head out...

DH just left, but Craig doesn't go in until later...

and then I am heading back to the playroom...

(I got all the housework done yesterday and last night!)

so today is play and nap day for me...
