Hello March!...

what a welcome month!

and since its Patty's month...

I'm going to show you my greens...

take your time...

strolling in a garden is soul cleansing...

we are a bit cooler...

50 but the wind has diminished significantly...

thunderstorms are on their way and tomorrows fore casted 60s are going to be wet ones...

so go out and play while you can...

Doofus rallied through the night and even went out for 20 minutes today...

feeding him by hand still...

he is holding at 5.8 pounds...

that's less than half of what he used to be...

but he is grooming again...

we have been kenneling him during the evening and at night...

for his safety...

so the others don't run him over...

and so we can keep an eye on the little box...

well...

back out I go...

almost 70 here today...

it was a nice day...

but would have been a whole lot nicer without all the wind...

Bebe is doing really good...

he is passed out on the couch now...

he played a lot today...

the skies were so blue...

daffodils are really up...

we may not have any spring flowers left by the time spring really gets here...

I piddle farted a little bit...

these evergreens are getting so large...

can't even see the house...

a tulip where a tulip wasn't planted...

hmmm...

more green...

and Beau Beau...

who isn't sure about me pointing a camera in his face...

we have one down...

Doofus is losing ground fast and has quit eating...

I hand fed him baby food tonight...

still drinking, but lost almost all his extra weight...

its his time...

pretty sure its cancer...

he's had something going on for 2 years now...

wouldn't know for sure unless they cut him open...

DH is heart broken...

goodbye...

its a sad day...

Davy Jones has passed from this world...

but I can't help but smile when I think of him...

the Monkees was one of my favorite shows...

from 67-71 I watched faithfully...

I was only 5 when it began...

and they always made me laugh...

and I still listen to their songs from back then...

I remember when Davy Jones appeared on The Brady Bunch with Marcia...

she was the president of his fan club...

I just hope his life was as fun and happy as he made so many people...

he was only 66...

but he died in his sleep...

you know, his mother died when he was 14...

imagine the reunion going on...

some things never go out of style...

its the smiles...

they always had them...

and they always gave them...

I remember that cover...

can it be that long ago?

anyway, thank  you, Davy Jones...

for all that you gave...

 the smiles...

the laughter...

my world was a better place because of you...

thunderstorms in February = frost in May...

isn't that what they say?

well, we have had thunder and lightening...

and rain...

so had to shut down the puter for awhile...

I played yesterday...

I should have been cleaning and sorting more...

but, I didn't...

Craig and I have been rearranging the counters the last couple of days...

and the mantle...

almost got it right...

but still tweeking...

I got a new pink flamingo cup Sunday to take on the road with me...

Dollar General...

the lid screws on and the straw cannot come out with the lid on...

DH found them and thought it  would be nice for me to take my drink with me...

inserting springy things here and there...

but it was too nice to stay in long...

one of the few times the sun was half way out...

but it was almost 60 here...

and it will be in the 60s today...

the clouds were white to start with but turned grayer as the day went on...

we had to make a Charleston run after DH got home to pick up the car from being fixed...

then Craig did a mini Walmart run...

while DH and I cruised Lincoln for a food run...

they had built a new County Market that just opened and they were knocking down the old one yesterday...

they aren't wasting anytime...

it was sad to see the building go...

it seems like it had been there forever...

but the new County Market it beautiful...

and when the dust clears...

it will all be good again...

we all wanted something different...

so 3 stops were  made...

McDonald's, Taco Bell and Arby's...

then home again...

and this is how I felt...

Beau Beau thinks its hard work keeping up with the duster and broom...

went to bed too early...

so now I'm up early...

so going to do breakfast and my pill...

and I might just sneak back to bed before anyone else gets up...

a few new things collected last week...

I found this little planter uptown at Martha's last week when Craig and I went snooping around town...

then this card came from Ann at  A Sentimental Life...

she sent me 3 of the cutest vintage easter postcards...

pretty, huh?

she knows I collect airbrushed embossed postcards...

I love them all!

and then a few that I purchased online came in...

I also collect big letter postcards...

look at the colors in these...

makes it feel like spring in here...

love the lacy edge to this one...

and then what I snagged Sunday at the DG...

bins, a book and nail brush...

and these guys...

I wasn't sure if I would like them, so only got one pack of them...

I am going back for more!

chicky egg candy containers...

a future collectible, maybe?

who knows...

think I had a tummy flu thing...

woke up sick at 2am...

and it ran about 12 hours...

miserable hours...

but I seem fine now...

like someone flipped a switch and turned it off...

I also got my new camera today...

and the photos were taken with it...

I love it...

its a Canon Powershot SX150...

I looked and looked and decided to stick with what I knew...

my old powershot did so well...

I went with a newer model...

so be warned...

I see lots of photo shoots in the near future...
