so we are inside again...

but we did venture out for a bit with the phone on the deck...

this is the help that I got about noon...

I got the old sedum trimmed down and some more raking done...

the beds will have to be raked off about 3 times to get it all...

the daffodils out front are blooming now...

the ones in the back have been blooming for several days...

the day lillies are coming up everywhere...

and the forsythia started opening this morning...

I think we should start on the bird bath...

those birds are coming back and setting up nests...

I love the part of spring when green whispers in the landscapes...

we are a long way off of planting...

but I am ready...

onsale rummaging...

and a large clock to replace the one DH killed off last year...

great bargains and they were even delivered...

the guys are bummed...

cable was out last night...

so hanging close and inside today until they come to fix it...

online tech said we need a new box...

yippee...

we have a chance of rain and I hope we get some...

will be mowing by next weekend if we do...

can you believe we are able to leave the windows open 24/7????

its a happy spring day!

after a very bumpy night...

I am doing fine today...

metformin side effects...

we think...

so, keeping busy today...

slowly getting back into my groove...

but we have the windows open in the kitchen now, too...

curtains washed...

windows on the inside...

the cats are loving it...

and we left the bathroom and living room window open the last 2 nights...

and have been waking up to birds singing...

its so awesome!

God blessed us with so much on this earth...

73 degrees here today and I am not up to par...

so spent some time inside this afternoon getting something started that I have wanted to do for awhile now...

a blog buddy adress book...

look, there's Debbie!

and Nana Diana...

I went through their blogs, and others, picking out just the right photos that remind me of them so much...

printed them off, cut them out and glued them in...

I made address labels and stuck them inside the envelopes...

so they are handy if I want to send them a card or something...

I only got these 2 done today, but plan on this being my rainy day thing until I get it done...

remember, I got it at Walgreens for 1.99...

been looking for an address book every stop I make, but couldn't find anything really fun...

or won't get lost in here...

I should be able to see this a mile away...

Boofy spent a big chunk of her day chasing squirrels...

she is faster than they are...

could catch them if  she wanted to...

but she likes to make them run up the trees...

we call this creeping charlie...

and we let him be until more bloomers open up...

them we will pull him out before he takes over everything...

my hippy dippy son...

with my earmuffs and my sunglasses on...

he found this while raking...

sure looks like aphid eggs to me...

the farmers have been talking about how bad they think they will be this year...

we haven't had any in years...

not since the asian beetles were released here...

but we didn't have many last fall...

and now we have aphids...

I laid low today and let the man child do the work...

so much to do!

but what is done looks great...

heard mowers in the neighborhood this afternoon...

getting them ready...

won't be long for that...
