I finally dove off the big board this morning...

and did this one myself...

it seems like there is fewer and fewer designers out there doing this...

and the ones you can find are old...

tired...

but...

if you go in and do a custom background on your own...

you can do anything you want...

almost...

it takes more than copying and pasting someone else's stuff...

but it can be fun...

so, give it a try...

the nurse called me this morning...

and...

she was just now calling in the antibiotic...

who knows when I will get that...

its going to take a run to Charleston...

hmmmm....

got to get moving...

we have things to do here and its not getting done with me on the computer...

I could sure use some fairies about now...

a little bit of fun...

I am so frustrated with the nurses that work for my doctor...

I told her to call the prescription in to the pharmacy where Craig works so he could pick it up on his way out...

I have to track that down today...

and we have to run to Paris to pick up the one for the blood sugar...

new one for me that I take once a day...

and I could have moved it to the other pharmacy...

but they have a coupon there and it makes it free...

I hope the antibiotic is there, too...

or somewhere over in Paris...

I really like this doctor...

but getting my prescriptions is like pulling teeth...

I cannot wait until their new clinic opens up here in town this fall...

I will go to whoever comes here...

it will be so much easier for me to get in when I need to...

especially in bad weather...

its been many years since we have had a clinic here in town...

I got to just hold on until that happens...

have good days...

hoping I get to make a stop somewhere fun while we are over there...

I am thinking footlong hot dog from Curly Q...

haven't had one all year...

UPDATE:

after researching this new drug online, I need to talk to my doctor before I even begin to think about taking it...

I have no idea why he won't just put me on insulin...

and Craig and I are staying home today...

will do the running to Paris tomorrow...

prayers for guidance on which way to go...

another good weekend...

I have been playing around again...

both guys worked all day Saturday, so we just had yesterday to get things done as a group...

laundry was all caught up...

so outside we went...

we had to clean out the truck and we cleaned out Craig's van...

gave it to a guy who is going to fix it up...

one of the babies left...

we even got the deck moved around and scrubbed off...

all with my lower back and hips giving me fits...

but we got it done...

will spend time out there this week while the guys are working...

if it doesn't get too hot for me and Charlie...

he got a bath, too!

then he played in the water and got yucky again...

we worked hard and ate good...

we stayed home and just had a good day...

grateful for good days...

its fair week here...

Doug and Paula spent some time there last evening...

and got some really good photos...

DH and I haven't been there in years...

its too expensive and hard for me to get around...

and usually super hot and humid...

but going at night is the best time to go...

the kids favorite thing?

strawberry shake ups and funnel cakes...

ya know we raised them right!

Craig is still sore this morning...

another day back at work...

he is looking forward to a day off...
